Privacy policy

Last updated 26 October 2026

Draft. The operator named below and the refund rule are placeholders until the owner confirms them; the rest is our working text.

1. Who we are

This privacy policy applies to Pull Recipe (pullrecipe.com) and its related services (the “Service”), operated by TEXTINTEL FZE, Starcamp Global, DWTC The Offices One, Office Number 01.03, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are the data controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: an account identifier; if you sign in, your email address and the sign-in method you use. You can use the Service without signing in, in which case your account lives in a cookie in your browser.
  • Content you provide: the links you paste, the video files you add, the recipes created from them, your edits, and reports you send about a recipe.
  • Payment data: details of your subscription and payments. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
  • Connected apps: if you connect a notes app, the identifiers of the workspace and page you chose, encrypted access tokens, and a record of what you sent there.
  • Technical and usage data: such as IP address, browser and device information, and how you use the Service.
  • Communications: messages you send us.

3. How we use your data

  • to provide, operate and maintain the Service and your account, including reading the videos you submit to create recipes;
  • to process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • to send sign-in codes by email;
  • to send recipes to apps you choose to connect, at your request;
  • to limit free use and keep the Service secure, and to prevent fraud and abuse;
  • to provide support and respond to your requests and reports;
  • to improve the Service;
  • to comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases

We process personal data to perform our contract with you, on the basis of your consent where we ask for it, for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Service, and to comply with the law. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

5. Videos you submit

To create a recipe, the video you submit is processed by an artificial intelligence service provider. For a public YouTube link, only the link is passed on; we do not copy or store the video. For other video links and for files you add, a temporary copy of the video is stored while it is processed and deleted when processing ends, and in any case within 24 hours. The recipe text, the link or file name, and your edits are kept in your cookbook until you delete them.

6. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:

  • with service providers that help us provide the Service, such as hosting, video processing, artificial intelligence, video retrieval, authentication, email and payment providers, under contracts that require them to protect it;
  • with apps you connect, such as Notion, when you ask us to send a recipe there;
  • with Google, as the provider of Google Analytics, and with PostHog, as a product analytics provider, under the cookie choices described in Cookies below;
  • when required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, under this policy.

7. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where we transfer data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

8. Retention

  • Temporary video copies are deleted when processing ends, and within 24 hours at the latest.
  • Recipes and account data are kept while your account is active. An account that is not signed in and has no visit for 90 days is deleted.
  • When you delete your account, its data is removed from our systems within 7 days, except where we must keep records to comply with the law.
  • IP addresses used to limit free use are kept for at most 30 days.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@pullrecipe.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. You can export your cookbook from Settings and delete your account at any time.

11. Cookies

We group the cookies and similar technologies we use into three categories.

Strictly necessary. A session cookie that keeps your cookbook and sign-in in this browser, and a cookie (pr_cookies) that remembers your cookie choice for one year. The Service needs them to work, so they are always on and do not need your consent.

Analytics. Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (Google Ireland Limited for users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland), and PostHog, a product analytics service provided by PostHog, Inc., help us understand how the Service is used and improve it. Google Analytics uses the cookies _ga and _ga_<id>, kept for up to 2 years; PostHog uses a cookie and browser storage named ph_<key>_posthog, kept for up to 1 year. They receive information such as the pages you visit, the events you trigger (for example, starting an import), your browser and device, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. They do not receive your email address, your recipes or the links you paste, and we do not record your sessions. These requests are sent through our own domain. Google and PostHog may process this data outside your country, including in the United States. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and PostHog's privacy policy.

Marketing. Lets Google Analytics measure the advertising campaigns that bring visitors to the Service, using Google's advertising signals and the _gcl_<id> cookies, kept for up to 90 days. We do not show ads on the Service.

Your choice. If you visit from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, analytics and marketing cookies are off until you allow them in the cookie notice. Elsewhere, they are on until you turn them off with Settings in the cookie notice; if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, marketing starts off. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of our pages, or in Settings, Privacy; turning a category off deletes its cookies on this browser.

12. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the date above.
